AccionMK<\/strong> was yesterday at the 40th anniversary of the Confederation of Employers of Malaga<\/strong>The event, which was attended by a large number of people, paid tribute to its previous presidents and general secretaries and presented awards to the CCOO and UGT trade unions, the Andalusian Regional Government, Malaga City Council, the Chamber of Commerce, the University and the Provincial Council.<\/p>\n

Created in 1977, as a result of the consensus between the most significant economic sectors in Malaga, the EMF<\/strong> commemorated its anniversary yesterday in an event which reviewed its contribution to the construction and maintenance of social peace and where they also wanted to recognise those institutions that during these years worked for the development of the province, since, as Javier Gonz\u00e1lez de Lara explained, the intention of this event was not only to remember the role of entrepreneurs, but to become an \"Recognition of Malaga society<\/strong>\".<\/p>\n

Gonz\u00e1lez de Lara, who is also president of the Andalusian Confederation of Businessmen (CEA),<\/strong> referred to all the decades of effort, tenacity, hard work, perseverance and the successes and mistakes they have made. He pointed out that the business community works \"for the common good: more companies and more employment\", without forgetting to recognise all the work that lies ahead: \"We have to be aware of our role of social leadership, the business community has to be jointly responsible for the society in which it lives, it cannot be on the sidelines but within it\", he explained.<\/p>\n
