All of this is set out in a document that reflects the major decisions that will be taken into account in the implementation of a project.<br \/>\nThe main objective is to draw a map with clear objectives and actions to be developed.<br \/>\nIn today's post we are going to take a look at the strategic plans for Malaga, in the first one<strong> Strategic Plan,<\/strong> the level of project implementation was stated to be 68%, whereas it is currently 89%.<\/p>\n<p>It included the projects that have changed the structure of Malaga. The AVE, the Trade Fair and Congress Centre, the network of road infrastructures in the metropolis, the Special Plan for the Port, the Metro and the extension of the Airport are some of the projects that have been carried out in the city. All of this was conceived two decades ago under a strategic vision of change for the future.<br \/>\nHowever, the <strong>strategic plans<\/strong> must change, adapting to the new era and the changing environment. In 2002 it was decided to launch a second Plan to address key issues such as globalisation, governance, sustainability and people. The II <strong>Malaga Strategic Plan<\/strong> is called the second generation plan, in which supra-municipality is considered as part of the strategic process. We cannot conceive the city only in a municipal environment, but must analyse it from a relational point of view, studying the connections with other municipalities and the region.<br \/>\nThe plan becomes a reference for Urban Policies and is taken into account in decision making.<br \/>\nFor many, it is the basis for future success, obtaining more relevance than many of the projects presented. It is segmented into 4 axes of action and defines 10 large-scale projects for Malaga.<br \/>\nThe <strong>Malaga Strategic Tourism Plan<\/strong> 2016-2020 foresees an increase in the figures related to tourism in Malaga. The budget of the tourism area in this period is 8 million euros, of which 5.6 million will go to the promotion of the city's tourist resources.<br \/>\nAccording to the data managed by the Tourism Department, by 2020 Malaga will have around 80 hotel establishments, 30% more than at present. Thus, it is expected that by the end of the decade the number of hotel beds will exceed 13,500, an increase of 42%.
