Soon you will be able to upload your CV on Facebook

The world's most popular social network already launched a job portal five years ago, called Social JobsThe LinkedIn project, which is very similar to LinkedIn, but which has not had the impact that Facebook expected.

Upload your CV on Facebook

Facebook is already the second most used social network by recruiters and candidates when looking for a job, below LinkedIn. Now, it is testing a new functionality that will allow us to attach files such as CVs on Facebook.

What we can do today is to enter the locations of the places where we have worked and the company we are currently working for. All this is done in the Work and Education. Really what you are looking for Facebook is that this section can be customised as it is done on LinkedIn so that you can put the CV on Facebook.

Some users have already had access to this new Facebook feature, such as Jane Manchun Wong, who has left these screenshots on her Twitter account.

CV on Facebook

We will be able to specify each of the professional and educational experiences, expanding the information on each of them with the introduction of personal achievements and areas of specialisation of each profile, or a set of keywords that summarise our professional profile.

These data will not be visible to any user. Our contacts will see similar information to the current one, i.e. very summarised, but those profiles that use their account for their profession (recruiters, headhunters, etc.) will have access to this information. Still we do not know if there will be a cost this new development.

This image corresponds to a test that Facebook has developed for some users; if successful, it will be officially launched as a beta version.
