What's new at FITUR 2020

As every year, a new day of FITUR arrives in JanuaryThe event is full of novelties and new business opportunities in the tourism sector.

In this edition, the undeniable protagonist is the African continent, which arrives with "MEET AFRICA", a new tool to discover Africa's tourism offer, as shown on the event's website:

"The new platform will make it possible to schedule meetings that will favour the knowledge of the African continent's tourism offer".

The aim is to offer the possibility of generating business alliances between industry professionals.

Therefore, from 22 to 26 January, there will be more than 30 different exhibitors from African countries, including Kenya, Madagascar, Mali, Morocco, Tanzania, Mauritania, Mozambique, Namibia and Senegal.

Technology and sustainable tourism

Other of this year's key events at FITUR will include technology and the sustainability of tourismThe aim of this commitment to technology is described by FITUR as: "The development of smart destinations is a key element for sustainable tourism. The objective of this commitment to technology is described by FITUR as follows:

"The aim of this initiative is to support the internationalisation of Spanish tourism companies, which have the opportunity to show their potential and make their innovative services and products known to other international markets".
